Athletics - Special Events
The Athletics Department and Red and Blue Club host a number of events throughout the year:
Red Sock Run - May 2, 2009, features three events: a One Mile Fun Run/Walk, a Toddler Trek and a 5K Cross Country Run, all on the MFS campus (held on Alumni Weekend in May)
Other Events:
- Varsity vs. Alumni boys soccer game (September, preceding All-School Picnic)
- Quad Nights - JV and Varsity boys and girls teams play a quadruple header in the MFS Field House (Winter).
- JV/Middle School Tournaments - The school is a periodic host of Friends Schools League junior varsity and middle school sports tournaments
- Red and Blue Club Golf and Tennis Tournament - Spring 2010
- Varsity Sports Awards - a concluding evening honoring all varsity athletes, coaches and support staff (May)
