Tickets are now on sale for the Moorestown Friends School presentation of Our Town, Thornton Wilder's most celebrated play. It opened on Broadway in 1938, received a Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and went on to become one of the most frequently performed American plays of the 20th century. Set at the turn of the 20th century, the play reveals the ordinary lives of people in the small town of Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire. With its focus on the precious moments in everyday life, Our Town follows the lives of two young neighbors: George Gibbs, a doctor’s son, and Emily Webb, the daughter of a newspaper editor in a small town, who fall in love.
