Next year MFS will compete at both the Varsity and JV level. The Debate Team advisor is Upper School History Teacher Judy van Tijn.

Friends of Fullerton To Rebuild Park (known by many at MFS as "Zelley Park")

Friends of Fullerton Park is a town volunteer organization that is planning a park build for the now-closed Frank Fullerton Memorial Park ("Zelley Park"), home to many MFS afterschool playdates.

Below is a message from coordinator Dee Bertino:

The park build will take place April 27 - May 1. We need 750 volunteers. We will be operating three shifts/day: 8:00 – 12:00, 12:30 – 5:00 and 5:30 – quit (usually between 8:30 and 10:00). We are asking each volunteer to bring if they have them: hammer, nail apron, tape measure, no. 2 pencil, safety goggles and work gloves.

Workers can either be skilled (comfortable using a circular saw) or unskilled.

Children under the age of 10 cannot be on the site. However, children ages 10 – 13 can work on the site if they are directly supervised by a parent/guardian. Children 14 – 17 can work unsupervised but may not use power tools.

In addition to builders, we will also need volunteers to assist us with child care and food services.

Please contact me to volunteer.
