Friday, 11/20 at 7:30 p.m. We need your help. Several aspects of the performances at MFS are dependent on parent volunteers. The Bravo! Club, a parent organization that helps raise awareness of the arts in the MFS community, works closely with the Arts Department to support the shows. The club is currently looking for volunteers to help with:

The Parent Phonathon will take place on Sunday, October 25 and Monday, October 26 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (you may select one or both evenings). A dinner will be held at Head of School Larry Van Meter’s home, after which volunteers will head to Stokes Hall to contact fellow parents to support the Annual Fund. Three Seniors Named National Achievement Scholarship Semifinalists (link incorrect in 10/2 E-News) The girls tennis team earned a spot in the NJSIAA Non-Public B South final thanks to a 5-0 win over Our Lady of Mercy on Tuesday. The final vs. Ranney School was originally scheduled for yesterday at MFS but was postponed due to weather and is scheduled for today at Noon. Field hockey, boys soccer and girls soccer all remain in contention for Friends Schools League (FSL) playoff berths which will be determined in the next two weeks. The boys and girls cross country teams will participate in the FSL championship meet at George School on Tuesday. GO FOXES! Senior Alyssa Fox is a member of The Skyliners Junior Synchronized Skating Team which has been selected to the U.S. Figure Skating international program for the 2009-2010 season. The Skyliners is a part of a select group of athletes that have earned the privilege of being members of “Team USA.” They will be competing internationally in Prague this January. Submit all notable out-of-classroom highlights for Fox Tracks to news@mfriends.org.
