American Red CrossPajama Day for Haiti - Fri., January 22

We are delighted to announce that all three divisions will join together in a Pajama Day for Haitian relief on Friday, January 22.

Students in Lower School are asked to give a small donation to their teacher; students in Middle and Upper School should give a minimum donation of $3 to their advisor or to Mrs. Taylor-Williams and Mrs. LuBrant for the privilege of wearing pajamas to school on Friday. The pajamas need to be tasteful and fulfill all requirements of the daily dress code. This will be a wonderful way to demonstrate the support of the school for the people of Haiti. We will send the donations to the Red Cross disaster relief for Haiti.

Crutch Collection via Cooper University Hospital (Deadline: Wed., January 27)

The medical team in Haiti from Cooper University Hospital has advised us of a great need for crutches for children and adults. In support, we are collecting any gently used crutches to be shipped to Haiti. Joanne Mitchell, Middle/Upper School Afterschool Supervisor, has kindly offered to organize the delivery from MFS to Cooper. Please bring any gently used crutches to the front desk in Stokes Hall and leave them with Mrs. Wilson. We will accept donations of crutches until Wednesday, January 27 at 4:30 p.m.

As always, thank you to the MFS community for your help and generosity.

Priscilla Taylor-Williams, Chester Reagan Chair for Relgious and Quaker Studies
Lynne Brick, Lower School and Middle School Quaker Education Teacher
