SEA WORLD PENGUINS TO VISIT MFS

Moorestown Friends School students will be paid a visit by two chilly visitors on Friday, February 2. Pete and Penny, both penguins, will visit the school as a preview to their appearance at the MFS Camp Fair on Saturday, February 3.

From 12:30 – 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, Sea World staff will provide opportunities for students to visit with the penguins. First, sixth and eighth grade students will listen to brief educational presentations by Sea World staff.

  

Moorestown Friends School (MFS) will host its 15th annual Camp Fair on Saturday, February 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the school’s Field House. This is the largest Camp Fair in South Jersey, featuring over 80 camps. Admission is free and the event is open to the public. There will be refreshments and lunch will be available for purchase.  A special guest this year will be SpongeBob SquarePants, who will be meeting and greeting Camp Fair visitors from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  

A wide variety of summer camps will be represented, including day and residential camps for young people in preschool through high school. There will be camps from the South Jersey/Philadelphia region, as well as camps based in the Adirondacks, the Poconos, West Virginia, New Hampshire, Vermont, Florida, Colorado and Wyoming. Traditional camps will be present as well as specialty camps with programs in art, sports, academic enrichment, advanced science, technology, and service. 

Penny, Pete and the Sea World staff will be representing SeaWorld and Busch Gardens Adventure Camps at the Camp Fair.
