MFS OPEN HOUSE: SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11

Moorestown Friends School will host an Open House for prospective students and families on Saturday, November 11 from 10 a.m. to Noon.

Moorestown Friends School is a day school founded by the Religious Society of Friends (also known as Quakers) in 1785. Today the school enrolls 724 students from Preschool through Grade 12. Moorestown Friends School is a community dedicated to the pursuit of educational excellence for a diverse student body within an academically rigorous and balanced program emphasizing personal, ethical and spiritual growth.

The school has the highest SAT scores in South Jersey and features a wide range of extracurricular activities for students.

Visitors to the Open House will hear remarks from Head of School Larry Van Meter, Director of Admissions Karin Miller and Diversity Coordinator Karen Washington.

Division directors of the MFS Lower (grades Preschool – 4), Middle (grades 5-8), and Upper (grades 9-12) Schools will host information sessions to answer questions and provide more information.

Immediately following these information sessions, visitors will be led on tours of the school. Lower School tours will be led by parents and Middle and Upper School tours by students.

The day will conclude with remarks from Lower and Middle School Quaker Studies coordinator Lynne Brick, followed by a panel discussion with MFS students.
