MOORESTOWN FRIENDS TO
HOST APRIL 4 OPEN HOUSE
MOORESTOWN,
NJ – Moorestown Friends School
will host its last Admissions Open
House of the 2005-2006 school year
on Tues., April 4. The two-hour Open
House program, which begins promptly
at 9 a.m., enables prospective students
and their parents to visit the campus,
meet with faculty members, attend classes
and listen to a student-faculty panel
in the Moorestown Friends Meeting House.
Moorestown
Friends School, 110 E. Main St., is
a coed independent Quaker day school
founded in 1785 that serves three-year-olds
through 12th grade. Its curriculum
fosters intellectual curiosity, independence
and moral growth. The school offers
an academically rigorous program balanced
by strong offerings in athletics, the
arts and community service.
Openings
for the 2006-2007 school year vary
by grade level. The Open Houses also
provide useful information for families
planning ahead to apply to the school
at some point in the future.
The
school offers financial aid to qualified
applicants. An Extended Day program
serves the needs of working parents.
Transportation
is provided from many area school districts.
