Q: Why not rely on external sources such as foundations and corporations to help support the school?

A: Moorestown Friends does seek and has received corporate and foundation sponsorship for targeted projects, but virtually no foundations or corporations fund general operating expenses for independent schools, except through matching or donor-advised gifts.
