“It was an honor and challenge to play for such a dedicated coach. Ms. Brudon embodied sportsmanship and dedication, and always challenged us to perform 100%.”
--Anne Rosenberg ’74
As a coach, teacher, colleague and friend, Floss Brudon had a powerful impact on the lives of hundreds of students at Moorestown Friends School. She was a member of the school community for more than 50 years. In her honor, in spring 2005 former students established The Floss Brudon Endowment for Coaching. Floss passed on in April 2008. In recognition of her support for girls' athletics at MFS, this permanent endowment will provide resources to fund the Varsity Head Coaching positions of the Girls' Lacrosse and Field Hockey teams.
To date, more than $120,000 in gifts and pledges has been secured through appeals from the members of the Committee for The Floss Brudon Endowment for Coaching. Additional estate commitments totaling $20,000 have also been pledged to the campaign. To make your commitment on-line to the Floss Brudon Endowment for Coaching, please click here.
