Volunteering for Alumni

Become a Volunteer

There are many ways for alumni to stay involved with the MFS community. By sharing time and talent, alumni volunteers strengthen the connection with fellow graduates and the current school community. Listed below is a sampling of the ways alumni can get involved.

Please contact Beth Stouffer, Associate Director of Development, if you would like to volunteer.

Ways To Get Involved

Class Representative

Work with the Development Office to help keep your classmates updated on the news from school and encourage support of the Annual Fund.

Alumni Association Executive Committee

The Alumni Association is looking for individuals in all decades to help form the leadership group for the association, as well as participate in various events, including meetings and regional gatherings, and act as ambassadors to fellow alumni.

Reunion Coordinator

Is it a reunion year for your class, or will it be next year? Volunteering to coordinate your class reunion is a great way to reconnect with classmates. The Development Office can help with the plans and offer practical assistance. Planning a reunion has never been easier.

Archive Project Volunteers

MFS has made steps to preserve its past by digitally archiving thousands of images and documents. The Development Office is looking for volunteers to help “tag” people and places in the photos to make the archives searchable.

Phonathon Volunteers

Each fall, alumni come back to MFS for one of two evenings to support the Annual Fund. This year, the Alumni Phonathon will be held in November. Spend an evening at MFS reconnecting with classmates, and supporting the school at the same time!

Host a Senior Project

For the month of May, seniors engage in off-campus pre-professional or service projects. These projects provide opportunities to explore interests that may lead to a career. MFS is looking for alumni who are willing to host current students and to share their expertise.
