Congratulations to long-time MFS Coach Joe McAleer who will be inducted into the South Jersey Basketball Hall of Fame on Sunday, February 14. Joe coached Girls’ Basketball and Girls’ Tennis in the 1980s and 1990s and his teams enjoyed a great deal of success, winning Friends League and South Jersey championships.
Pictured at right is the 1992 Girls’ Varsity Basketball team which won the Friends Schools League championship (over Westtown 44-41), the first of four league titles in a row.
