Yannique Benitez joins the Moorestown Friends community as a ½-day Preschool Teacher.
Yannique graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She began her career as a freelance writer and subsequently worked in the admissions office at Prep for Prep, a leadership development program for independent school students in New York City. Yannique is a prior graduate of Prep for Prep and credits her work experience there for inspiring her to work with children.
Yannique earned her master’s degree in early childhood education and early childhood special education from the Teachers College at Columbia University. She has worked at multiple schools in New York City, including the New York International School and Manhattan Country School, and most recently as a fourth grade special education teacher at Main Road School in Newfield, NJ.
