It was an eventful two days on the soccer fields at Moorestown Friends School on November 9 and 10. Two semifinal victories have resulted in what is believed to be a first in school history: Both soccer teams will compete for the South Jersey championship at the same site on the same night!

Both varsity soccer teams hosted NJSIAA Non-Public B South semifinal matches in Moorestown this week.

On Monday, Kieran Lees converted an Alexis Kasper cross in the first half and goalkeeper Gaelyn Gregory made 11 saves to lift Girls’ Soccer to a 1-0 victory over Our Lady of Mercy Academy.

Tuesday, the Boys’ Soccer team roared back from a 2-0 halftime deficit to defeat Immaculata High School, 4-2. Olivier Bastien scored the gamewinner in the 58th minute, Andrew Denittis scored two goals, and Matthew Mullock had a goal and two assists, including the gamewinning assist.

Don your Red and Blue and make the trek to Holmdel on Thursday evening!
