In order to introduce Preschool students to the Auditorium (and avoid stage fright!), Upper School chorus members met with both Preschool classes on Friday, December 5.
“We wanted to introduce Preschoolers to the concept of a concert, so we planned a joint music time with the Preschool and the MFS Singers,” said Lower School Music Teacher Joanna Stamper.
Preschoolers entered the Auditorium, looked around, and sat down in the audience. The Upper School students performed two songs for them, and then they invited the younger students onto the stage.
In mixed-age groups, the students shared their likes and dislikes in a fun get-to-know-you game. Then the Preschoolers stood up and performed two songs, with the Upper School students cheering them on from the audience.
