In celebration of Larry Van Meter’s Headship and in recognition of his family’s three-generation connection to MFS, the Van Meter Camden Scholars Endowment has been established by the School Committee as a permanent testament to his vision for and personal dedication to the Camden Scholars Program.
Fred ’65 and Caroline Brunt ’66 Moriuchi Family and Friends are providing a $100,000 challenge to match gifts dollar for dollar to the Van Meter Camden Scholars Endowment.
The School Committee and the Endowment Committee invite the entire MFS community to honor Larry Van Meter as he retires after 17 years as Head of School and to help endow the Camden Scholars Program, which for more than 40 years has provided scholarships for talented students from Camden to attend Moorestown Friends.
Instructions on Gifts/Pledges: Supporters are welcome to make a single gift or to make a multiple-year commitment/pledge that would include a payment now and subsequent payments for one or two additional years. MFS requests that multiple-year commitments not exceed a total of three years. Commitments will be matched until June 30 or until the $100,000 threshold is reached.

Obtain the proper form and send it along with your gift. For some companies, the matching gift process is online. The EIN/TAX ID number for Moorestown Friends is 21-0634497.
