[wc_testimonial by=”The Burlington County Times” url=”” position=”right”]“As well as Moorestown Friends played to put some distance between itself and Delran in a backyard boys’ lacrosse battle on Wednesday, the Foxes figured they’d have to ride out a storm if they wanted to follow through with a win. They were right. Friends held on for an 8-7 nonleague win that wasn’t secured until the final few seconds ticked off the clock.”[/wc_testimonial]

The Boys’ Lacrosse team’s 8-7 win over Delran was the front-page sports story in the May 7 edition of The Burlington County Times.

Senior Joe Beideman scored six goals and assisted on the other two to continue his record-breaking season. Earlier in the season he scored 13 goals in one game, a school record. According to the BCT, Joe is currently the active career goalscoring leader in Burlington County with 111 goals. He is also second to New Egypt’s Kyle Prouty with 48 goals in the 2015 season.
