On May 23 at Moorestown Tennis Club, the Boys’ Tennis team defeated Rutgers Prep, 5-0, to capture the NJSIAA Non-Public B South championship and 14th sectional title in program history. The team did not lose an individual match during its run to the championship. The school owns two Boys’ Tennis state championships (1977 and 1978). (View tournament bracket.)

Coach Kathleen Tuck’s team was in control the entire match earning straight-set victories in all five matches.

They turn right around today and travel to Mercer County Park to face Newark Academy in the NJSIAA state championship match at 1 p.m. Athletic Director Danielle Dayton (@ddaytonmfs) will provide live updates from the match via Twitter.
