Moorestown Friends School eighth grade studentChloe Chen earned one of the prestigious clarinet spots in this year’s All-South Jersey Middle School Honor Band.
She competed against the very best young clarinetists from all over the southern part of the state in a blind adjudication on Saturday, January 25. Chloe’s competition was particularly strong, as the clarinet division had the largest number of competitors in any instrument group this year. Chloe also auditioned last year and earned a spot as a seventh grader.
The Middle School Honor Band concert will be held in early March. More information can be found on the SJBODA website.
