Commencement for the 70 members of the Class of 2019 took place outdoors on the MFS Oval on Saturday, June 8 — a beautiful, warm summer evening. Head of School Julia de la Torre and School Committee Clerk Barbara Caldwell gave introductory remarks, followed by three Commencement speakers: Director of the Camden Scholars Program/Math Teacher/Middle School Diversity Coordinator Dorothy López and seniors Serena Lin and Andrew Rowan, all selected by the class.
