Five MFS Students Selected for All-South Jersey Orchestra/Ensembles

Five MFS students have been accepted into the All-South Jersey Orchestra/Ensembles. Selection is made after a competitive audition process, which took place December 11 at Absegami High School. The students will now participate in a series of rehearsals and a final concert at Rowan University in January. They are also now eligible to compete in the New Jersey All-State Orchestra auditions which take place in March. 

Katerina Terez ’27 (Violin) and Hanna Xia ’28 (Cello) were selected to the All-South Jersey Junior High String Ensemble. Emmet Kimberly ’22 (Violin) and Alexander Kwak ’23 (Cello) were selected to the All-South Jersey High School Orchestra. Heera Dalal ’23 (Violin) was selected to the All-South Jersey High School Symphony. Of particular note, Alex Kwak was named First Chair Cello.
