NICK SMITH, Trustee, Co-Clerk of the Head Search Committee. He is a current MFS parent and a member of Moorestown Monthly Meeting. Nick is the Executive Vice President for The Universal Group, LLC, a nationwide distributor of suspension components for the truck and trailer industry headquartered in Pennsauken, N.J.
NAOJI MORIUCHI, Former Clerk of the School Committee. Naoji is a graduate of MFS, as are many members of his family. He is a member of Moorestown Meeting and a current MFS parent. He is Co-Owner and Broker Associate of Keller Williams Realty – Moorestown. Naoji was formerly the Clerk of the MFS Alumni Association.
EMILY TRAVER GOJMAN, MFS Faculty Member. Emily is a Lower School teacher, Co-Clerk of the Friends Stewardship Committee, and a member of the Lower School Agenda Committee.
SHERYL ASH, Vice President, Isaacson, Miller – Search Consultant. Sheryl works across the firm’s education, philanthropy, arts and culture, and environmental practice areas. Her experience includes leadership searches for independent schools, museums, associations, and environmental organizations, as well as senior-level academic and administrative searches in many areas of the firm’s higher education practice. A graduate of Cornell College, she holds a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Wesleyan University and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
BARBARA ROSE CALDWELL, Trustee, Co-Clerk of the Head Search Committee. Barbara serves as Clerk of the School Committee (the MFS Board of Trustees). She retired as Associate Head and Academic Dean at MFS after a long career in independent schools. She is trained as a classicist. For the MFS School Committee, she clerks the Governance Committee. Barbara is a member of Providence Friends Meeting.
WHITNEY “WHITTY” RANSOME, Trustee. Whitty has had a long career in independent education, with a particular focus on opportunities for young women. Most recently, she was the Founding Director of the James Center at Garrison Forest School. Whitty is an alumna of MFS as are many members of her extended family.
JACOB STEIN GREENBERG, MFS Faculty Member. Jake is a Middle and Upper School history teacher, the Co-Coordinator of the Middle School Advisory Program, and serves on the Diversity Committee.
KATIE ROCKMAN, Managing Associate, Isaacson, Miller – Search Consultant. Prior to joining Isaacson, Miller, Katie worked in the Office of External Relations at the MIT Sloan School of Management, and she also served at an educational recruiting company that specialized in the placement of teachers and administrators in the K-12 sector. Katie is a graduate of Yale University and earned an EdM in higher education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
TONI PROFFITT BROWN, Trustee. Toni serves as the Chief Administrative Officer of the Delaware River Port Authority. She Clerks the Assets Committee of the MFS School Committee and is the MFS Treasurer. Toni is the mother of two MFS graduates. She is an attorney and economist by training.
PHIL LIPPINCOTT, Trustee. Phil serves as Assistant Clerk of the School Committee. He retired as a corporate executive and has served as a Director on several corporate boards. He is a lifelong Quaker. Phil is the father of three MFS alumni and hosted numerous international exchange students at the school.
DOROTHY LÓPEZ, MFS Faculty Member. Dot is a Middle and Upper School Math Teacher, the Director of the Camden Scholars Program, and the Middle School Diversity Coordinator.
STEVE ZAKROFF, MFS Director of Development. An MFS parent, Steve serves as staff to the Head Search Committee.
