WMMR’s Jacky Bam Bam Pays Special Visit to Kindergarten for a Mummers Lesson

WMMR radio personality Jacky Bam Bam, an uncle of a kindergarten student, paid a special visit to the entire MFS kindergarten this morning to display his “Ghost Train” Mummers costume and to explain the history and tradition of the Mummers. Jacky won First Place in the Handsome Costume category at this year’s parade and the parade has been a part of his life for four decades. Students learned the basics of Mummers strutting and enjoyed a dance or two, along with the opportunity to wear two hats Jacky brought with him.
