Lauren Kam ’21 Wins Local Innovator Award from Society of Women Engineers

Lauren Kam ’21 has received the STEM in Action: Local Innovator Award from the Society of Women Engineers. 

The STEM in Action award recognizes girls in grades 6-12 who are actively interested in STEM and doing something in their community about it (such as raising awareness and/or mentoring students). The Local Innovator Award is a special designation given to select juniors and seniors; to be considered, Lauren submitted a three-minute video with her STEM in Action application discussing her involvement with STEM and how she has contributed to the community.
