Library Transforms Into Restaurant

Grades 2-4 were surprised to find the library transformed into a restaurant during the week of October 4, with lots of wonderful books on the menu! Students sampled titles from the Book Buffet, using their menus to record tasting notes. They discussed the best ways to taste a book, such as looking at the text features, reading the back cover or jacket copy, taking a picture walk, or reading a few pages. Many friends found some exciting new books to check out, and everyone enjoyed dessert – a scented apple pie bookmark!
