Philadelphia Eagles Recognize Math Teacher Michael Omilian as Axalta All-Pro Teacher

The Philadelphia Eagles recently announced that Upper School Math Teacher and Director of Scheduling Michael Omilian has been selected as an Axalta All-Pro Teacher. Axalta All-Pro Teachers is a program that recognizes outstanding 5th through 12th grade teachers in the Greater Philadelphia area area for their contribution to their students, school, and community. Axalta and the Philadelphia Eagles have selected 10 exceptional teachers to be honored in their classrooms and by Eagles fans.

Michael is in his 30th year at Moorestown Friends School. In addition to teaching, he currently uses his math acumen as the Director of Scheduling. Michael served as the school’s Math Department chair for 20 years and also as Dean of Students for three years. He has also been heavily involved as a coach and advisor in the Upper School Robotics program. 

Michael served as a Team Leader in the school’s last Accreditation For Growth process (2007-2013) with Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) He also served on the Technology and Communications Working Group for the 2011 Strategic Plan.

On behalf of Mr. Omilian, a $2,000 donation will be made to MFS to be used for school supplies or programming. He will also receive four tickets to a select 2021 Eagles home game, a personalized Eagles jersey, personalized Eagles football, and more.
