I’m Andrew Rowan, a senior at Moorestown Friends School, and this is my seventh year attending the school.
I will be one of the many Student Ambassadors providing tours at our next Open House on Sunday, October 14, and I hope to see you there!
MFS is more than just a place where I take classes, it’s a place where I’m able to pursue my passion and interests. I’ve been able to develop leadership skills through being a class officer and serving as editor-in-chief for our school news network and yearbook. I also enjoy serving as a peer leader with 15 other senior students, as we help ninth grade students with their transition to high school.
When people ask me what I like most about MFS, I immediately say the people. The small student-to-faculty ratio allows me and my friends to form strong relationships with faculty members. The dedicated teaching staff are always willing to meet outside of class to go over material I do not understand or just chat about how I’m doing. Their support has been instrumental to my success at MFS.
If you can’t make the Open House on the 14th, we will also host our “Tour de Friends” campus visit on Friday, November 9, and another Open House on Saturday, November 17.
