The following seniors have been named Commended Students in the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program: Calvin Bell ’20, Bailey Butterworth ’20, Aaron Clark ’20, Hannah Jin ’20, Jalen Patel ’20, Henry Powell ’20, and Andrew Rauscher ’20.
These students completed the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) in October 2018 alongside 1.6 million additional U.S. students; their Commended status recognizes their placement as seven of the top 50,000 scorers in the country. They were also recognized for their exceptional academic promise with a Letter of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program.
