The Moorestown Friends School fall theater production, Shrek The Musical, will take place November 21-23 in the MFS Auditorium.

Based on the blockbuster movie and the book by William Steig, the story begins with an ogre named Shrek. On his seventh birthday, Shrek’s parents send him out into the world to make his own life. They warn him that because of his looks, everyone will hate and fear him, and he will not have a happy ending. Shrek goes on to meet a host of disgruntled fairytale creatures, a princess named Fiona, and a sidekick Donkey who helps him save his swamp.

Brandon Beach ’15 plays the title role, and Pilar Martinez ’15 plays Princess Fiona. Noah Borromeo ’17 stars as Donkey, Luke Shaffer ’15 is Lord Farquaad, Jonathan D’Souza ’19 is Pinocchio, Skylar McClane ’16 is Gingy, and Sierra Mills ’16 plays the role of The Dragon Lady.

Dates for the three shows are:
