The Middle School Service Leadership Activity recently sponsored a fundraising effort to support the Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation, a local charity that supports teens battling cancer. Middle Schoolers sold bandanas to students, faculty, and staff at lunchtime, and the entire community was encouraged to wear their bandanas on Tuesday, March 10 to promote awareness for this worthy cause.
The Alicia Rose Victorious Foundation provides activities, programs, and events that enhance the quality of life for teens with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Since its inception, the Foundation has successfully partnered with 99 children’s hospitals in 37 states throughout the country, funding 62 Teen Lounges and providing over 12,000 Teen Kits to critically-ill children.
