Two Seniors Named National Merit Commended Students

Liam Schenk ’19 and Kendall Connolly ’19 have been named Commended Students in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program. Liam and Kendall completed the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) in October 2017 alongside 1.6 million additional U.S. students; their status as Commended Students recognizes their placement as two of the top 50,000 scorers in the country. Both Liam and Kendall received a Letter of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the test each year.

Liam is an active participant in Model UN and plays on the Varsity Boys’ Soccer team. Kendall was inducted into the Cum Laude Society in May and plays on the Varsity Girls’ Field Hockey team.
