Two Students Receive Scholastic Art and Writing Awards

Two students have received Gold Key awards in the New Jersey Writing Region of the 2020 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Calvin Bell ’20 received his award in the Personal Essay and Memoir category. Kayla Patel ’21 was recognized in the Short Story category. In addition, Calvin received an honorable mention award for photography in the South Jersey Art Region.

Calvin and Kayla will be recognized at a March 25 ceremony. Thanks to their Gold Key awards, they are also considered for national recognition.
