The MFS Hawks Robotics Team has qualified for both the NJ and PA State Tournaments this year.
This video shows the Hawks' robot, #237, winning a tele-op challenge in the FIRST® Tech Challenge Lehigh Valley Qualifying Tournament on Saturday, February 14, 2015. The Hawks are scooping balls into a tube to score points, then moving the tube up the scoring ramp to earn additional points. An ally robot is trying to prevent the other two robots from scoring. This video is from the second match of the finals.
MFS students Scott Abrams ’15, Armon Adibi ’15, Ryan Baker ’16, Travis Benedict ’16, and Andrew Edzenga ’15 earned several distinctions at the Tournament. The Hawks won the Finalist Alliance Captains Award, were the captains of the second-place alliance, and were nominated for Think and Design Awards.
