The 2016 Cupola won a Second Place Silver Award from the Garden State Scholastic Press Association, the authority on scholastic publications in New Jersey. To earn the award, the Cupola was judged by an experienced out-of-state journalism advisor who used a thorough critique form and granted points in a number of categories. Last year, the yearbook staff received a Bronze Award. They worked hard throughout the 2015-16 school year to improve based on last year’s critiques.
English Teacher Emily Salazar and Art Teacher Nicole Edmund are co-advisors for the Cupola. The senior editors-in-chief for the 2016 yearbook were Marirose Aleardi ’16, Sasha Katsnelson ’16, and Priya Patel ’16.
