Two Students Win Awards at Coriell Institute Science Fair

Brothers Nolan ’28 and Jason Youssef ’26 captured awards at the Coriell Institute Science Fair on Saturday, March 16 at Camden County College in Blackwood. For the second consecutive year, Nolan won First Place in the Grades 6-8 Engineering category and First Place in the Best of Engineering – Grades 6-8 category (project: “Personalized Kidney Model Using 3D Printing Optimization”). Jason won the Marianne Raphaely Medicine and Health Award for a 9th or 10th grade student who shows initiative and practical approach in Medicine & Health and also won Second Place in the Grades 9-10 Medicine & Health category (project: “Potential Application of SLA 3D Printing of Coronary Artery Stents”).

Serving as faculty advisors/sponsors for the projects were Middle School Science Teacher Deb Bruvik (Nolan) and Upper School Science Teacher Trish Tate (Jason).
