Girls’ Tennis Captures Ninth South Jersey Championship

Yesterday the Moorestown Friends School Girls’ Tennis team, ranked No. 1 in all groups throughout the state by NJ.com, captured the NJSIAA Non-Public B South championship with a 4-1 win over Ranney School. They advance to the Non-Public B state championship match vs. North champion and No. 13-ranked Newark Academy Friday at 1 p.m. at Mercer County Park. 

This is the ninth South Jersey sectional championship for the program and the third in four years for the defending state champion Foxes. The coach of the team is Mike Bodary.
