Alec Ryden ‘19 has been named one of New Jersey’s best high school golfers by the Professional Golfers’ Association of America (PGA).

The New Jersey section of the PGA selects members for its All-State teams through several criteria. These include a player’s finishing rank in sectional, county, and conference championships, along with the NJSIAA Tournament of Champions. At the end of the season, the NJ PGA sorts the highest-scoring players into First, Second, and Third All-State teams for boys, and First and Second All-State teams for girls.

While All-State teams do not compete in matches as a cohort, the rankings are considered prime indicators of the top golfing talents in New Jersey. Alec was placed in the Second All-State team for his championship scores throughout the Spring 2018 season.
