Middle School MATHCOUNTS Team Places Fifth at Chapter Competition

Eight middle school students traveled to Ocean County College in Toms River, NJ to participate in the MATHCOUNTS Ocean/Burlington Chapter competition on February 9. Heera Delal ’23, Sreehita Hajeebu ’23, James Langham ’24, and Rhea Malakar ’25 competed for MFS and finished fifth overall. Also participating were Isabella Didie ’24, Brady Kim ’25, Jack Kim ’23, and Alexander Kwak ’23. The middle schoolers are coached by Upper School students Dylan Zhou ’19 and Hannah Jin ’20. The MATHCOUNTS activity is advised by Middle School Math Teacher Kathi Bernard.
