Middle School Students Raise $2,500 for Disaster Relief at 2018 Service Fair

On October 12, MFS Middle School students hosted their annual Service Fair. The combined efforts of Middle School students, faculty, parent volunteers, and donors led to a total of $2,541.25 raised for UNICEF’s Disaster Relief Fund! These donations will support UNICEF’s outreach efforts in the wake of natural disasters, such as health care, clean water, and nutritional needs.

In addition to running games and activities at the Fair, Middle School students participated in several service projects. These included preparing utensil packets for Cathedral Kitchen, raking leaves at the cemetery across from MFS, tending the gardens along McShap Path, picking up trash, making cards for Lutheran Home residents, and more.
