Moorestown Friends welcomes Sonia Boddén to the community as the Assistant to the Director of Admissions & Financial Aid. Her natural abilities in accounting, organizational skills, and strength as a bilingual speaker will help keep the Admissions Office’s day-to-day operations running smoothly.
Originally hailing from San Jose, CA, Sonia has spent most of her life in South Jersey. Previously, she has held positions ranging from administrative assistant, bilingual recruiter, bank teller, accounting clerk, and bookkeeper at White Cap Inc., Stratus Services, Coriell Institute for Medical Research, and MRS Associates. Sonia is now returning to work full time after taking time to homeschool her young children.
“I couldn’t be happier to be a new addition here at MFS!” said Sonia. “I’m looking forward to providing a helpful and pleasant experience to both new and returning families as they entrust their children to this welcoming and friendly community here at Moorestown Friends School. Having so many years of experience as a homeschool mother, I understand and appreciate all that goes into preparing children for school. I hope I can lend my expertise and knowledge behind the scenes to assist families.”
Sonia and her husband recently celebrated their ten-year anniversary. Together they have three children — Bella, Andy, and Marcos. Outside of work, you can always find Sonia with her family, painting with the kids, doing arts and crafts projects, and creating costumes. She loves cooking and is determined to become a master gardener soon as well.
