Reformer and advocate for equality and peace, 1793- 1880
Lucretia Mott was a reformer dedicated to the equality of all Americans: women, native peoples, slaves and free blacks. She was an inspirational speaker, a natural organizer and believed that a spirit was at work in the world which required all of us to become active reformers wherever we encounter injustice and inequality.
