Prekindergarten Develop Computational Thinking and Teamwork Skills
Twice every six-day cycle, Coding Teacher Rachel Kaplan visits her Prekindergarten students for coding lessons. Mrs. Kaplan calls over two students to work together during their activity of the day. Sometimes the pairs will do “unplugged” lessons but often the prekindergarteners will learn using various robots. In this lesson, the students had to program directional movements into the robot so it would move from one object on the map to another.
