Apr 14, 2021

Roma Jha ’22 has been chosen as a 2021 New Jersey Governor’s School Scholar. The Governor’s School in the Sciences at Drew University hosts a number of outstanding high school juniors from all parts of the state who would like to “broaden their knowledge of science through exposure to a range of scientific topics and scientists.”

This summer, scholars will take three academic online classes, a laboratory course, complete a virtual research and/or design project in a group of 4-5 students, hear from scientists, and meet peers and professionals from across the state via videoconferencing over a three-week period.

The Governor’s School of New Jersey was established in 1983. The tuition-free programs are open to students from diverse economic backgrounds who are New Jersey residents and who have completed their junior year in any public or private high school or are home-schooled.
